JONE is located on a 2,000 m2 plot with an orchard and pine forest in the small village of Poço Redondo, quiet and peaceful, a perfect place to relax but maintaining the human touch of an inhabited place. It is located 15 minutes between the Castelo de Bode Dam Reservoir and the city of Tomar. It has everything you might need, but also has the support of a local contact whenever necessary. The decor is a mixture of rusticity with signature pieces in an architect-designed house. The space Casa Jone has a large indoor and outdoor social space, ideal for family and friends gatherings. It is quite cool in summer thanks to the high ceilings and the controlled solar gains in the architectural design. Despite this, it has 2 recent air conditioners. In the winter, it also has a cozy giant fireplace for which we provide firewood. It has a small swimming pool, taking advantage of an irrigation tank, very safe for small children. A Balinese bed in the shade of the pine trees, an orchard where you can pick fruit, a hammock in the shade, a basketball hoop and a badminton court. On the mezzanine, the chill-out space of the house, there are also some board games and a space dedicated to work. The living room also has a socket with a USB charger, and the internet is high-speed fiber. We have a large crib that we make available upon request. We also have a changing table and a high chair for meals. For pets we have a large sleeping pad, water and food bowls, and a litter box for cats. Less than 15 km away by car, there are several river beaches to enjoy, on the banks of the Zêzere River. The whole area is very quiet and peaceful, and we are sure you will have a great vacation at Casa Jone! Guest access The swimming pool and outdoor space are private to the house. Summer guests are prohibited from using firewood and pine cones. To use the barbecue, you have charcoal, kindling and matches at your disposal. Watering or any other type of treatment of the plants is also prohibited, however, you can pick fruit, except when we previously advise you that you cannot do so due to some treatment in the orchard.
