The cabin is in a uniquely secluded yet easily accessible location, a rare balance that offers complete privacy without sacrificing comfort. All around, there is nothing but the forest, the scent of resin, and a breathtaking view that opens onto the mountains like a painting that changes with the seasons. It is a place that welcomes, calms, and invites you to find time and space for yourself and for those you love. Inside, you will find warm, lovingly cared-for spaces, because every detail is designed to make guests feel truly at home. The cabin is equipped with heating from a pellet stove, which provides a soft, enveloping warmth, and a modern, practical induction cooktop. The kitchen is fully equipped: pots, utensils, dishes, and small accessories… you will find everything you need to cook without any worries. For music lovers, there is a sound system with speakers both inside and outside, along with a selection of rock CDs that are perfect for evenings under the stars. There is also Wi-Fi, but you will be pleased to discover that you can do without it and that you can truly unwind here. The outdoor spaces are also cared for with the same attention. The centerpiece of the outdoor area is a large table made from the wood of a centuries-old chestnut tree, overlooking the valley and sheltered by a pergola of vines and wisteria. It is a special place, where you can enjoy breakfast surrounded by greenery, share a dinner at sunset, or simply let yourself be enveloped by the silence of the mountain. Next to it, a two-burner masonry barbecue allows you to experience the mountains through their flavors as well: one burner is for the traditional polenta, the other for grilling or cooking on the traditional piòda, a soapstone from Valmalenco that gives food an authentic, time-honored flavor. It’s an experience that combines conviviality and tradition, perfect for leisurely evenings under the pergola. For those who want to relax, there is a hammock under the pergola, perfect for reading one of the books provided or for letting yourself be lulled by the breeze. There are also board games and games for both indoors and outdoors, so that even children can experience the cabin as a small world to explore. Just a short walk from the cabin is the Postalesio Pyramids Nature Reserve, an amazing place where nature has carved unique and fascinating shapes. A moderate trail leads to the discovery of these columns of earth and stone, surrounded by an almost magical silence. On the other hand, if you climb up the mountain road, you’ll reach Alpe Colina, with its glacial lake at 2,000 meters, a little alpine gem nestled among the rocks. Here, time seems to stand still: the crystal-clear water, the close sky, and the scent of the high altitude create an atmosphere that stays in your heart. For those who want to explore even further, we offer e-bikes on request (not included in the price), which are ideal for getting around along trails, through villages, and among scenic views, following the slow pace of nature. Pets are welcome, and the fully fenced garden allows them to move around safely, making the cabin perfect even for those traveling with their four-legged friends. Guest access The entire property, house, and garden are for the exclusive use of the guest. Other things to note If available, you can request early check-in and/or late check-out for an additional fee. Contact the host to evaluate this opportunity. Access to the property is via an asphalted "Agro Silvo Pastorale" road, for which a fee of €3 (daily), €5 (3 days) must be paid to the Municipality. The pass can be purchased in the shops and bars of the neighboring villages, but it can also be issued by the host by providing the make, model, and license plate of the vehicle and paying for it upon arrival. The room has a bunk bed. Normally, we provide a single bed for two people. If you want to sleep in separate beds, you must indicate 3 or 4 adults, since the provision of the second bed involves a surcharge. During the winter season, in case of snow or frost, it may be necessary to have snow chains or 4-wheel drive cars. As required by Article 38, paragraph 8 of Regional Law no. 27/2015, upon arrival, you will need to provide your personal details and show a valid ID to the host. To speed up check-in, you can share this information with the host in advance. We periodically perform air treatment with ozone system using CE certified ozonator.
