Protea Cottage

Protea is a private cottage, centrally situated in a quiet, tree-lined suburb of George in the beautiful Garden Route. The cottage consists of an en suite bedroom and a well-equipped kitchenette. This leads to a private under cover stoep area, next to the pool – perfect for lounging around with a fire and a glass of wine! (The pool is not enclosed – please ensure your water safety!) This cottage has recently been renovated to suit the style and demands of the modern self-caterer. The space Protea Cottage has a separate entrance and caters for 1-2 guests. (Jasmine Cottage, on the same property, caters for 4 guests, giving you the opportunity to rent both, catering for up to 6 guests.)The bedroom has a double bed, a spacious “powder area” and a big smart TV with full DSTV!!! The kitchenette is fully kitted out with a fridge/freezer, microwave oven, toaster and kettle and all the cutlery and crockery you could possibly need. The spacious “outside” living area provides couches, a dining area and a fire-place with complementary fire wood for those winter evenings, or beautiful summer braais next to the pool! Guest access Guests receive a remote for the security gate and keys to their private entrance. Guests have exclusive access to their unit and "outside" stoep area, which includes a lounge and dining area as well as the braai area. Other things to note Protea Cottage is owner managed and is conveniently situated less than 10km from the George airport – transfers can be arranged. We offer safe parking, free WiFi, and an outside braai/barbeque area at the pool.
