We are conveniently located on Market Street, steps from a bus stop, blocks from a trolley station and with easy access to several freeways. We are located just 1.1 miles from Convention Center. There are many nearby places to eat and shop for groceries and necessities. The space THE SPACE Two of the three bedrooms in the house are listed in Airbnb. You will have a private room and there may be other guests staying with us. Cautionary Disclosures: - Our house is located on Market Street, a busy corridor with lots of car and foot traffic. -We are across the street from a liquor store which closes at 2 a.m. -Might be too noisy for light sleepers. -My friendly husky named Mikosh lives here. If you are afraid of dogs or suffer from dog allergies, my house may not be a good fit for you. -Additionally, downtown is plagued with homeless people because most of the city's homeless resources are located there. You will see homeless people downtown and in Sherman Heights. My property is gated, safe, and secure but, if you are faint of heart at the sight of street people you should consider renting an Airbnb in a different neighborhood. This building has been in our family for two generations and we are continuously working on restoring it. It was built in the late 1800's, but it has lots of charm, it is clean, and conveniently located.
