Far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, the former water mill is idyllically located in the beautiful Brunnental, surrounded by forest, on a unique property directly on the Papenteich. The ideal place for natural recreation, unique hikes in the gentle hills of Märkische Schweiz and extensive bike tours in the picturesque Oderbruch. That is why we have focused on the most sustainable and ecological solutions possible during the renovation and furnishing, without sacrificing comfort, stylish furniture and an all-round cozy living ambience. The apartment is decorated in a modern country house style with Scandinavian boho flair and is suitable for up to four people. Pine wood planks and underfloor heating in the tile area, together with the massive old building walls, ensure a pleasant living climate all year round. The bedroom is equipped with a large double bed (180 x 200). A double door leads to the living room, which is equipped with a closet bed with a comfortable mattress (140 x 200) and serves as another bedroom for two people. Both rooms have their own access. From both rooms you have a beautiful view of the greenery directly on the Papenteich, the spa park behind it and the adjacent forest. Cable & smart TV are available in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, stove, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and all other cooking accessories. It is right next to the small dining room, from which you can reach the light-flooded conservatory via three steps. Also in the conservatory you will find a cozy lounge corner, satellite TV and a dining table for breakfast in the morning sun. The Papenmühle is embedded in a large garden that borders directly on Papenteich, spa park and forest. The apartment includes a small terrace as well as its own small garden area, where you are undisturbed - whether for sunbathing, reading, playing or grilling. Directly by the pond is the rustic sauna hut (Banja) with a wood-burning stove, which you can use for an extra charge (€40 per use) and after consultation with the owner on site. On request, two unisex bicycles are available for rent for €5/day during your stay. We will gladly provide you with baby/toddler equipment for a small fee (travel crib, fall protection for the parents' bed, changing mat, Tripp Trapp high chair with baby set, potty, bathtub). Just write to us if you'd like to use this option to clarify the details. Guest access The apartment has its own small garden. At the entrance to the house, our guests have access to the pond. The back garden and the play equipment (trampoline, sandbox, etc.) are NOT part of the apartment and may not be used.
