Far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, the former water mill is idyllically located in the beautiful Brunnental, surrounded by forest, on a unique property directly at the Papenteich. The ideal place for recreation close to nature, unique hikes in the gentle hills of Märkische Schweiz and extensive cycling tours in the picturesque Oderbruch. That's why we have relied on the most sustainable and ecological solutions during the renovation and furnishings, without sacrificing comfort, stylish furniture and an all-round cozy living ambience. The apartment is furnished in modern country style with Scandinavian boho flair and suitable for up to 4 people. Pine wood floorboards and underfloor heating in the tile area, together with the massive old building walls, ensure a pleasant living climate all year round. The bedroom is equipped with a large double bed (180x200). A French door leads to the living room, which is equipped with a closet bed with comfortable mattress (140x200) at the same time as another bedroom for two people. Both rooms have private access. From both rooms, you have a beautiful view of the countryside directly onto the Papenteich, the spa park behind it, and the adjacent forest. In the living room, you will have cable & smart TV available. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and any other cooking equipment. It is right next to the small dining room, from which you can reach the light-flooded conservatory via three steps. Also in the conservatory you will find a cozy lounge corner, SATELLITE TV and a dining table for breakfast in the morning sun. The Papenmühle is nestled in a large garden that borders directly on Papenteich, spa park and forest. The apartment has a small terrace as well as its own small garden area where you are undisturbed - whether for sunbathing, reading, playing or barbecuing. Directly on the pond is the quaint sauna hut (banja) with wood stove, which you can use at an extra cost (€40 per use) and after consultation with the owner on site. On request, two unisex bikes are available for rent for €5/day each during your stay. We will gladly provide you with baby/toddler equipment for a small fee (travel cot, fall-out protection for the parent bed, changing mat, Tripp Trapp high chair with baby set, potty, bathtub). Just write to us if you'd like to use this option to clarify the details. Guest access The apartment has its own small garden. At the level of the house entrance, our guests have access to the pond. The rear garden and playground equipment (trampoline, sandbox, etc.) are NOT part of the apartment and may NOT be used.
