Harman Hideaway Room - The Livingston Inn
Description
Stories tell us the last prominent family in our home, Gordon and Dolly Harman, resided in this room as their bedroom, becoming the perfect vantage point to hear their daughters trying to sneak in late at night. Guests will find the Harman Hideaway Room up the staircase off the back parlor in a special place toward the back of the house. The room features a window looking out to Lake Mendota along with a queen-size bed, beautiful gas fireplace, and private bath featuring a delightful rainfall shower with separate hand-held wand. Experience a B&B like no other in our 160-year old Gothic-revival house! The Livingston Inn is on the National Register of Historic Places and was home to two Madison mayors. Nine fireplaces, stunning architectural details, lakefront access, and in the heart of our exciting downtown scene. We also offer free breakfast, WiFi, and gym membership with daily maid service. We are inspected, licensed, and insured with the WI B&B Association! The space All of our rooms are air-conditioned and have their own fireplace and private bathroom along with streaming service featuring free Netflix and Amazon Video. The house has a front and back parlor for guests with complimentary wine and sparking water. Breakfast is served daily in our dining room - the best time of day to meet other guests or get some local tips and insight from your hosts, Peggy and Dave. The grounds feature a front and back garden along with lakefront access and pier down on Lake Mendota for the most beautiful sunsets nearly every evening. Guest access Guests have access to most areas of the house except for the kitchen, laundry facilities, and other areas marked Private.
