Gîte de la Girouette is close to Omaha Beach, 4 min drive, and also close to Pointe du Hoc and the American Cemetery of Colleville-sur-Mer The space NEW FIBER INSTALLED Very fast internet ☺️☺️ We rent our 55 m² cottage, ideally designed for 4 people so that we can fully enjoy the spaces. However, it can accommodate 6 people, with a sleeping area in the living room on the ground floor. It was completely renovated in 2018 in a chic countryside style. Rooms were restored in April 2025 for your convenience. It includes a living room on the ground floor, with an equipped kitchen (dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, kitchen set, etc.), flat screen TV. The living room is also equipped with a sofa bed for 2 people (with a real mattress) The upstairs includes a master bedroom with a double bed 140x190, a bedroom with 2 bunk beds, and a bathroom (toilet and shower). Sheets and towels are provided and included in the price. The gite has a garage with washing machine, dryer, and room for our biker friends to house motorcycles if needed. Our courtyard is secured by enclosed walls and has an electric gate for children to play in the yard safely. Our gite is located in a small village of 100 inhabitants, on the coastal road between Pointe du Hoc, the beautiful beaches of Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery. A path to the littorali is 2 min by bike from the cottage. You can then take in beautiful views at the top of the cliffs during your bike ride or on foot. For your visits , the cottage is ideally located sinceit is by car: - 4 min from Vierville sur Mer beach - Saint Laurent sur Mer - 5 min to Pointe du Hoc - 8 min from Grancamp-Maisy (fishing port) - 10 min from Colleville sur Mer American Cemetery - 20 min from Port en Bessin (fishing port) - 25 min to the medieval town of Bayeux (Cathedral, Bayeux Tapestry...) - 40 min from Caen Guest access This is a complete and independent unit. The gîte is opposite our property (courtyard adjoining with us). Our house is located on the coastal road between Vierville sur Mer and Grandcamp Maisy. Coming from Vierville sur Mer , our house is on the left. Other things to note Amenities You will find a small supermarket (with bread deposit) 3 km from the cottage. You can find good regional products 2 steps from the cottage: - Cidery with sale of cider, calvados, apple juice and pommel in Englesqueville la Percée - Isigny sur Mer cheeses, ice cream and caramel (Normandy Caramel) in Les Halles de vente à Isigny sur Mer where several local producers are located.
