The Lodge, peacefully nestled in the countryside

Tastefully designed and decorated Perigord style property in the Perigord natural park area of the Limousin, South - West France. Ideal for peaceful and romantic breaks. However, situated close to the Dordogne and plenty of outdoor activities and historic sites for visitors wanting more activity.​​​ The space The Lodge has a fully fitted kitchen with Cooker, Micro-Wave, fridge/freezer, Toaster and Electric kettle all making self- catering easy should you wish to. Off the kitchen is a comfortable Lounge with Integrated DVD/Television which receives all the normal U.K stations. Small hallway that leads to the double bedroom with a large window overlooking the front of the property and a small area of woodland . The shower room is everything you'd wish for, with powerful shower, W.C and basin. All towels are provided along with Hair dryer. The French doors from the Lounge lead onto a patio area with it's Bistro table and chairs with private BBQ close by. To the side of the lodge is an area which can be used for sunloungers or to picnic on under some shade from the hot sun. The large gardens and drive provide ample off road parking. Wi-Fi is also provided for your convenience. Other things to note Only a 40 minute drive from Limoges airport which is serviced by Ryanair getting here is easy. We send full PDF directions from the airport and from Calais should you be driving down (Be aware though that being in the South-West of France it's a good 7 hour drive from Calais.) to all of our guests. Guest access The Gite is set in 1 acre of grounds along with the main house. There is a lawned area which guests are more than welcome to use for sunbathing, picnics, BBQ's. There is a 3x3 plunge pool for guests to use, however it is a shared area. Just outside the property is a small local country lane which leads down to a beautiful chateau with its own moat, perfect for evening strolls. Other things to note Shared pool available
