Or take a long luxurious soak in the unique open plan bathtub, complete with its own stream view. The space The jewel in the crown of this self-catering property is its generous top-floor master suite - with its comfy bed, private balcony, stream-view bath and separate shower room. Fresh, contemporary and calming décor perfectly complement the high wood beamed ceilings. Whilst thermal walls, solar panels and hemp insulation make this a truly unforgettable eco-retreat all year round. Downstairs you’ll find a cosy sitting room, dining room and galley kitchen perfect for cooking up a feast or enjoying a relaxing movie night. With fast Wi-Fi, TVs, DVD and HiFi you also have all the mod cons you might need. You will have the shared use of the grass tennis court, the gardens, the games room, gym, sauna and indoor heated pool. Guest access Barberry Brook is very private - a feeling maybe exaggerated by the fact that you are more likely to see birds on the wild bank opposite instead of other humans through your windows. However, you have access to other amenities and are most welcome to use the free heated indoor swimming pool, grass tennis court (May to September), croquet, snooker table or ping pong if you are feeling energetic. All of these facilities are shared with other guests. If you just want to chill out with a drink by the stream keep a look out for otters, birds and butterflies! Other things to note There is no need to exert yourself while you are here and you may just want to relax around Fingals in order to go home refreshed. We have a couple of bikes here that you can borrow, you could set up the croquet on the lawn, play a game of lawn tennis or have a swim and then warm up in the garden with a good book and a cup of tea. But there is so much on offer in our wonderful corner of Devon that you could pick a different activity and area to explore every day and still have to come back for more!
