Large family house & extensive gardens right on the banks of Little Loch Shin in the heart of Lairg. All rooms are en-suite & the house is within walking distance to local amenities. Stunning scenery & beautiful walks right on your doorstep. Fishing rights on Little Loch Shin are included. (season from March to Oct) The guests have exclusive use of kayaks, paddle boards & rowing boat - life jackets are provided. (Disclaimer required) Dog friendly (max 2 well behaved dogs) The space Bedroom 1, 2 and 5 can be made up as twins or doubles. Bedroom 4 has a double sofa bed. A travel cot can also be ready for your arrival on request. We will request room set up requirements nearer to your check-in date. Fully equipped kitchen, dining room to seat 12, downstairs toilet and utility room, large living room/games room with french doors opening onto the decking. Ample space inside and outside of the property for guests to enjoy. The garden is private with secure perimeter fencing and gated driveway. There are several seating areas around the garden including a summer house. Ample private parking for 4-5 cars at the rear of the house. There is a public EV charging point only 200m from the house at the carpark overlooking the loch. Guest access The property will be exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. Access to the water sports equipment is only available after signing the disclaimer. Any damages or loss of equipment will be charged accordingly. (There is a £1000 security amount set with Airbnb for this purpose) Other things to note The house is located next to the local Spar store (not open Sunday) where you will be able to buy all your essential shopping needs. There is also a petrol station and Costcutter store on the other side of town (open 7 days). The fish van parks up outside the Spar shop on Friday mornings. Tesco and Asda will deliver to the address. The Pier cafe serves up some amazing food but its advisable to call ahead for opening hours and bookings (changes throughout the year) We will send further details leading up to your check-in date.
