Stay in the suite featuring the original post and beam structure and still offering modern conveniences such as gas fireplace , heated stencilled ceramic floors. Enjoy the quality mattress set into a 200 yr old brass bed once owned by royalty. Escape down to the river where a little cabin sits. If you are lucky you will have deer, heron, beaver, fox and many more wildlife come to visit. The space This 600 sq ft suite features the original Post and Beam structure. One room that is furnished with a kitchenette, private bathrm cosy living room that will transform from a ONE bedroom suite to having three queen beds. We offer the best quality queen sofa and chest beds. Our guests are amazed at the comfort to accommodate up to six people. Features heated floors, high ceilings, picture windows, fireplace. separate entrance from private parking area and much more. We discount four or more people. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the little cabin in the woods near the waters edge. There are tables and chairs around the grounds. The rear of the manor offers a furnished cool area on the veranda, sunny table and chairs on the patio in the gardens. We make no apologies and there are more guests than not that truly enjoy the opportunity to see what "restoration vs renovation" really means. Through the restoration we have learned valuable history on how this home was originally built, as well as learn more about the people who originally lived here. We share that with our guests who are curious. This is not just a place to sleep, but a learning a big part of the history of the Wolverton Family, the runaway slaves who ended up here via the underground railroad and life in our town of Paris.
