This large and impressive 19th century barn conversion, immaculately restored, is hidden behind high gates in the small country village of Pontlevoy, in the heart of the Loire Valley castles. There are two comfortable and spacious self-catering units, each with its own unique ambiance... each very special! The space The Duplex Gite is a luxurious 3 bedroom duplex with a ground floor living room, dining room, kitchen/bar, pantry and guest toilet. The open kitchen is extremely well equipped with quality appliances and is ideal for cooking even gourmet meals. There is a large closed fireplace in the living room. The dining table is for 6 people. The Gite is suitable for pets. UNFORTUNATELY THE GITE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 10 YEARS. The 3 spacious bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 twin) and a shower room are located on the first floor. The decoration is contemporary, with a clever mix of antiques. The beds and bedding are of hotel quality ensuring a good night's sleep. All rooms have ceiling fans and closets. The shower room is spacious and has a large walk-in shower. There is a private patio overlooking the garden equipped with outdoor dining table and a gas barbecue. Guest access Our guests can swim in our 17m x 3m x 1,5 deep heated pool with pool loungers and umbrellas or relax in our large contemporary garden. The pool is closed at night for maintenance and sometimes for 2 hours during the day for cleaning. A secure parking in the property is at your disposal. During your stay Both accommodation units have been designed to offer our guests a relaxing "home away from home" feel, where attention to detail is a common thread. They are both uniquely designed and housed in a beautifully restored massive former barn, set in a beautifully manicured spacious garden. The site is shared with four guest rooms, which do not interfere. Other things to note Check-in from 5pm check-out 11am Quite time from 11pm to 9 am. Bring your pool towels.
