This large and impressive 19th century barn conversion, immaculately restored, is hidden behind high gates in the small country village of Pontlevoy, in the heart of the Loire Valley castles. There are two comfortable and spacious self-catering units, each with its own unique ambiance... each very special! The space The Duplex Gite is a luxurious 3 bedroom duplex with a ground floor living room, dining room, kitchen/bar, pantry and guest toilet. The open kitchen is extremely well equipped with quality appliances and is ideal for cooking even gourmet meals. There is a large closed fireplace in the living room. The dining table is for 6 people. We provide a high chair, potty and bed for families with babies and toddlers. The 3 spacious bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 twin) and a shower room are located on the second floor. The decoration is contemporary, with a clever mix of antiques. The beds and bedding are of hotel quality ensuring a good night's sleep. All rooms have ceiling fans and closets. The shower room is spacious and has a large walk-in shower. There is a private patio overlooking the garden equipped with outdoor dining table and a gas barbecue. Guest access Our guests can swim in our 17m long heated pool with pool loungers and umbrellas or relax in our large contemporary garden. The pool is closed on Sunday afternoon for maintenance as well as at night for security reasons. A secure parking in the property is at your disposal.
