Description

House Agave dates back to 17th century, recently being restored gives all the amenities you could possibly need. It is situated 3 minutes walking distance from Trsteno Arboretum which is one of the top 10 attractions to visit while in Dubrovnik area by Conde Nast Traveller. It offers fully equipped kitchen, queen size bed, open space closet, stylish dining table, flat TV, modern bathroom, spacious outdoor dining area and on the upper terrace two sunbeds and coffee table to soak up the sun. The space The house is situated in Trsteno one of the top 10 attractions to visit while in Dubrovnik area named by Conde Nast Traveller. I suggest this quite location where you can enjoy in nature and Adriatic sea while at the same time visit Old Town of Dubrovnik, Elaphiti islands, Peninsula of Peljesac, island of Mljet, island of Korcula and Neretva county. All this attractions is much more easier to visit while staying in Trsteno. Imagine perfect vacation staying just 5 minutes from Trsteno Arboretum entrance, the oldest of a kind in Croatia with a parking free of charge for your car just 3 minutes away from the house, in front of St. Vid Church. Arboretum was erected by the local noble family Gozze in the late 15th century, who requested ship captains to bring back seeds and plants from their travels. The pride of the Arboretum are also two 500 years old Oriental Planes, located on the central market place in Trsteno. Some of the plants dates back from time of Christopher Columbus. In the third and forth season of the television series Game of Thrones, Trsteno Arboretum was used as the setting of the Red Keep palace gardens in King's Landing. Trsteno and the Rennaisance park served as the noble family summer house. House Agave is the residential part of Trsteno, far away from the hustle and bustle of city crowds, cars, hotels, restaurants and bars. The area is surrounded with private houses and gardens where the Mediterranean plants such as lavender, rosemary, fuchsia, bougainvillea and citrus trees perfume the summer air. Around House Agave dominate the birds and crickets songs and the vicinity of the Adriatic sea, to be precise only 8-10 minutes walking down the pathway. This is a real oasis for your relaxing vacation! Guest access The House offers open space bedroom, open space closet, kitchen, dining area and private bathroom. It has also outdoor dining area and on the upper terrace two sundbeds and coffee table to soak up Mediterranean sun. The main entrance and stairs to reach Agave House are also common stairs and entrance to the Villa next door. Other things to note * House truths* * There are about 60 steps from the parking area to reach the house! * I would recommend coming to Trsteno with car! To be more flexible and explore surrounding area. To depend on the local buses is very difficult . * There is no supermarket in Trsteno, the closest one is in Zaton, 10 minutes away with car from Trsteno. * Tab water is not drinkable! We always leave welcome bottle of water but for the rest of your stay I advise to buy some in the supermarket! * Please note there are no restaurants in Trsteno. The closest restaurant is Gverović Orsan the one is in Zaton.
