The ceiling heights are lower in certain parts of the unit. There is a HVAC soffit in the hallway starting from bathroom toilet area to the main hallway, which has lower ceiling height and may be inconvenient for taller guests. The Bedroom, Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Laundry, and Bathroom Sink and Shower area are all under normal ceiling height. This unit is only recommend for guests that are 5'8" or shorter only. This unit is NOT recommended for guests who are 5'9" or taller. If you are 5'9" or taller, this unit may prove inconvenient for you and if you do decide to stay, you must agree to staying at your own risk. Also additional portable single (twin) bed available. Sleeps up to 4 people. -Full Size Beds are outfitted with full fitted sheet, duvet with comforter insert, and 4 standard pillows with pillow cases. -Prior to guest arrival, the unit is deep cleaned following Airbnb Cleaning Protocols and all bedding is cleaned and laundered. -Please be advised since we allow pets (cats/dogs) in the unit, we do deeper cleaning and use stronger cleaning products and laundry detergent with fragrance for the unit. If you have any sensitivities to these products, we recommend you finding another listing to stay at, as these are our cleaning protocols for all reservations. -Basic Dinnerware, Cutlery, Drinking Glasses, and Pots & Pans provided. -We provide complimentary coffee, & water bottles for your first night. -We provide bath and hand towels, toilet paper, and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your use. -The apartment is professionally deep cleaned and sanitized for new guest arrival. -We have in-Unit Laundry Room. Please note that Detergent is not provided by host, so please bring your own. -Please note this is apartment unit located in walk-up building with stairs. You will have neighbors above you. So we ask all guests to be courteous and not disturb the neighbors. Chicago quiet hours must be observed between 10pm-8am daily. Guest access -Unit Access is through the front of the property. -Guests will access their unit through the main entrance to their own private apartment door. Other things to note -All guests need to be attentive to the house rules during their stay, as we have other tenants at the property. -Absolutely no parties or gatherings, or unauthorized guests are allowed inside the airbnb. If you are caught violating house rules during your stay, your reservation will be immediately canceled and you will be asked to vacate premises. You will also be charged for damages and any cleaning fees to restore the unit. -Absolutely no outside party decorations allowed including balloons, candles, confetti and attaching signs like banners, streamers, tinsel, or any type of decor to the walls with any type of adhesives. Since there are tenants above you, you may hear walking sounds periodically. It will be guest responsibility to replenish if they require more items for their stay. -Cleaning service is only provided before check in and after your check out. -We have duvet covers on our beddings (no top sheets). All bedding is washed after every guests. -If guests smoke or damage the listing, we will charge for any associated and cleaning fees to restore the unit. -Please mindful of electricity consumption in this unit. This unit has an electrical baseboard heater that is operated through use of knob. Also an in unit Portable AC during summer months. We ask guests to turn off AC/heat when not in rooms or at home to conserve energy and avoid excessive high electricity bill. If we incur a high electricity bill during your stay ($200 or more for the month), guest will be responsible for paying this bill and any fees associated with excessive use of electricity. -All windows are weather sealed and can’t be opened. We have Cooling/Heating, and fans available for air circulation. -Early Check In is available for an additional charge of $50 (non-refundable) but is subject to availability.
