An ambient 19th century, semi-basement mini home for in a historic tannery factory neighborhood just 20 meters from a most picturesque seashore. The 15 sq-metre, fully equipped room is part of the 60 sq.-metre private space with adjoining bathroom, workspace, a private furnished patio with a lofted view to the sea and a gym. Situated in historical Halepa, at your doorstep lie fine taverns, cafes and historical landmarks, making Mikrokosmos one of the best non-touristy "microcosms" in Crete. The space This fully-equipped, newly renovated, semi-basement studio not only provides guests with the privacy of their own patio and a loft sit with a view to the sea and an old abandoned tannery, as it is detached from the rest of the house, but it also has direct access to a professional gym and a sea kayak for adventure seekers. The room itself boasts the finest style: There is a double floor bed on a 6-square-metre loft with dimmer roof lighting, under which there is a Cretan sofa that converts into one single bed, a floor lamp, shelves and a wardrobe closet. The loft bed frees the 15 square meters of the room which includes a kitchenette with two burners, a fridge, an oven and plenty of cupboards with all the cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery you need. On the wall opposite the sofa there is a flat screen smart TV with free Netflix access, a drawer cabinet and a wall-mounted folding table for two - all the amenities to make your stay most comfortable. The room has an adjoining, spacious toilet with bathtub and shower.(We must note that due to the loft bed inside the room, under which lies the sitting area, the space is not ideal for persons over 1'85" in height.) Outside the main entrance of the room, in the small hallway, there is a cozy workspace with a desk, a lamp and shelves. The 17-square-meter patio can be seen as an extension of living space, with a comfortable three-sitter outdoor sofa and a relaxing hammock, as well as a lofted 4 square meter deck with table and chairs for meals with a view to the sea and the old tanneries. The whole patio is under a balcony roof, which provides protection from rain, the heat and the sun. Guest access Since the apartment constitutes a partitioned extension from the rest of this renovated 19th century complex, guests have their own private access to the whole 60 square meters of their premises - room, gym, workspace, patio with a loft balcony for a sea view. Other things to note Your room is unique in that it has its own adjoining gym and a patio with a sea kayak that can be rented.
