Ardent dog lovers Karthik and Ingrid Davey decided to open the townhouse to welcome humans and pets alike, offering the same luxury to both. The space is meticulously planned by doing away with elements that block the view - there are minimal walls and the rooms aren’t overladen with furniture. BEDROOMS - There are 3 bedrooms - 1 in the basement, 1 on the ground floor and 1 on the first floor. - All bedrooms have a plethora of amenities including a king-size bed, AC, Wi-Fi and attached bathrooms. - Balcony is offered in the room on the ground floor. Terrace is offered in the room on the first floor. BATHROOMS - There are 4 bathrooms in the villa - 3 attached, 1 common powder room. - All attached bathrooms have geysers, towels and basic toiletries. KITCHEN - There are 2 kitchens - 1 in the basement, 1 on the ground floor. - Guests can access the kitchen on the ground floor to make tea, coffee, instant noodles and simple food for infants, but not for elaborate cooking. - It is equipped with an oven, a gas stove, a toaster, an induction plate, a mixer, a refrigerator and a microwave. - Crockery and cutlery are available. FOOD - A complimentary breakfast is offered. - All other meals can be provided in-house at an additional cost. - The costs for the aforementioned food and beverage offerings and events are subject to an 18% GST charge. - Prices and items may vary subject to availability and peak season rates. - Guests can also eat out in nearby restaurants like Annapoorna Aahar, Santrupthi Restaurant, Sukhadhare Bar & Restaurant and Food Lover Restaurant. COMMON AREAS - The living room seats up to 6 people. - It offers TV and WiFi. - There is a CCTV camera installed for security purposes. - The dining area seats up to 6 people. - There is a 30x15 sq. ft lawn with seating for up to 6 people. Guest access - The guests have access to the entire villa. - In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests will have restricted access to shared amenities. Other things to note FOOD - A complimentary breakfast is offered. - All other meals can be provided in-house at an additional cost. - Guests can also eat out in nearby restaurants like Annapoorna Aahar, Santrupthi Restaurant, Sukhadhare Bar & Restaurant and Food Lover Restaurant. STAFF ACCOMMODATION We are unable to provide accommodation for your personal staff. ACTIVITIES Within the property, guests can enjoy a peaceful read or play indoor games like chess, cards, ludo and other board games or ride bicycles and explore the river nearby. They can also step out to visit some of the prominent attractions including - Mysore Palace, Tipu's Palace, Kaveri Sangama and Brindavan Gardens. Guests can also visit Madikeri in Coorg which is 2 hours from the villa. HOME TRUTHS While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later! - This property is not suitable for guests who use wheelchairs. - There is a friendly dog present at the property. - There is a CCTV camera installed in the living room for security purposes. - In case of a power outage, the generator can support all the appliances except for the ACs for up to 3 hours and the inverter can support fans and led lights for up to 6 hours. - The caretaker stays in the premises of the same property. - WiFi, although offered, is subject to network availability at any given time. - Mobile networks such as Jio/Airtel/Vi work fairly well here. ADDITIONAL COSTS - 1 maid and 1 cook can be accommodated at an additional cost. - Washing machine is available at an additional cost of Rs. 500/- per use. - At an additional cost of Rs. 500/- dog kennel can be used. - Pets can be accommodated at an additional charge of Rs. 750 plus taxes per pet, per day.
