KOMEHOME is a 70-year-old traditional house in Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture, the home of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale. The space 1 Group Per Stay. This is a renovated 70+ year old traditional house with a sunken hearth (Irori). Rooms can accommodate up to 8 people. The entire house is spacious and comfortable. Since the house is limited to one group per stay and there are no other guests, you can stay without hesitation even with small children. The kitchen, laundry, and bath (with tub) are very convenient for families, friends, and those who wish to stay for a long time. The second floor overlooks rice paddies, and the breeze from the Shinano River is soothing. Guest access Basically every rooms are accessible except for the room where the owner stays. Outside, you are free to use the space in front of the entrance and other areas of the property, but please do not enter the surrounding rice paddies, fields, or neighboring houses/gardens. As the owner is not living in full time, please contact us before your intended check-in time. Punctuality will also be greatly appreciated. Other things to note We take measures to prevent insects from coming into the house, but since the house is surrounded by nature, the insects may come into the house.
