We are wonderfully remote! The nearest substantial supermarket is about 10 miles away. We highly recommend doing a full food & drink shop before you arrive so you can settle in immediately without needing to drive back out. 📱 Connectivity WiFi: We have reliable internet suitable for streaming and video calls. Mobile Signal: Due to the mountains, mobile reception can be patchy. We recommend enabling "WiFi Calling" on your phone before arrival. 🌲 Life in the National Park Nature: Being in the forest means you might encounter local wildlife. In summer months, we recommend bringing insect repellent (for the famous Scottish midges!). Weather: Bring your wellies or hiking boots! The trails can be muddy, but the utility room is ready to dry them out. 🐾 Pet Owners We love dogs! Please just be mindful that there are sheep and wildlife in the surrounding fields, so please keep dogs under control when exploring outside the garden. Please see description.
