The guest space is part of our home, it is the entire 1st floor of our 3 story home. (We live on the 2nd-3rd floors). It includes 3 private bedrooms, private bathroom with shower, outdoor space with seating, grill, separate entry. Living room and food prep area with fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, toaster oven, tea kettle, dishes, silverware, grilling tools. Quiet location 4 miles from Spearfish. 42 acres with scenery, hiking trails & wildlife. No smoking/vaping etc on premises. Beautiful, quiet setting in the Black Hills away from the hustle of city life. Sit on the porch while you sip your morning coffee and watch the wildlife. Take a hike on the almost 3 miles of mowed trails with additional views of the Hills. Sit by an evening campfire and enjoy roasting your own marshmallows and sharing campfire stories. Picnic table. Yard space for outdoor games like croquet, yard yatzhee, frisbee, etc. Board games. Large TV with YouTube TV & Amazon Prime. Be sure to read through the House Rules, thankyou. Private entrance and complete access to the 1st floor. Lots of parking space. We live on the 2nd and 3rd floors but keep the guest space on the 1st floor completely separate so that you have complete privacy. On site and available. We use the main and upper floors of the house and strive to be very quiet and respectful when guests are present. We limit our time on the main floor when possible so as to give guests in the lower area as much quiet as possible. Also, there is no cell service for making phone calls at this space due to the mountains but you can use our wifi for wifi calling. Just make sure you have it set up on your phone before arriving. The only shared spaces with us are outdoor garden area and yard space if we happen to bump into each other. Close to Spearfish Canyon. Short drive to many attractions in the Black Hills as well as Devil's Tower in Wyoming. Lots of hiking and sight seeing nearby. We have plenty of parking space available. Our winter months (Nov. thru April) tend to be pretty snowy and we have a long, curvy driveway. We do plow the driveway but just to be on the safe side it's helpful to have front wheel drive with snow tires or 4 wheel drive in case we get snow when you stay with us. No pets due to regular guests in our house that have allergies. And no children under 8 years.
