Description

Live Nepal’s charm in a cozy apartment at The Museum B&B, nestled in Kathmandu’s embassy district. Adorned with authentic Nepali artistry, it boasts a kitchenette, living area, bedroom, and private bathroom. Join the vibrant Le Sherpa Farmers Market (Saturdays, 7 AM–1 PM) in our premises, savor café brews or Japanese dining, and relax in our lush garden. Just 10 min from tourist hub of Thamel, with free WiFi, A/C, and parking. Book for a soulful cultural escape in the heart of the capital! The space A master craftsperson has taken responsibility of each apartment/room to display his uniquely hand-crafted work, and what makes our apartments special is you can meet and attend the workshops (all under 5 hours) of any of these craftsperson to truly culturally immerse yourself with the theme of your room. Or if you'd like you can also directly purchase the products of these craftsmen and avoid the overpriced souvenirs sold in the markets. This apartment in particular has undertones of a farmer's home and has the works displayed of Narayan Prajapati, a master potter who has plied his craft for close to two decades now. The building itself was built over 30 years ago as a residential property, but we've renovated it to serve as a one-of-a-kind Bed & Breakfast. We also have a farmers market that's held in our gardens every Saturday from 7am to 1pm. Guest access We're a small Bed and Breakfast with 6 rooms. You will have access to your apartment at all times and you can also use the spacious garden and our roof top. There is also a cafe and restaurant in a 25 meter radius which stay open till 10pm that you can try out. During your stay I live a 7 minute drive away, and I'll be happy to help you anything you need during your stay here in Kathmandu. I also run a whole range of offbeat activities for travelers like street food tours, cooking classes, woodwork classes and even knife making sessions, so if that is of interest to you then I can arrange for those as well. I also travel quite often, but when I am not around my friend Kanti looks after the apartments and she will help you with anything you need. :) Other things to note Perfect for culture enthusiasts, foodies, and travelers seeking a blend of modern comfort and authentic Nepalese charm, The Museum is your home away from home. Book now for a stay filled with local flavors, artisan connections, and the vibrant energy of Le Sherpa Village!
