We are in Thouraz at 1700 m. in the municipality of Sarre in the Aosta Valley. The well-being of listening to the silence, the emotion of observing the starry sky, the pleasure of enjoying breathtaking views of mountains, woods, pastures... all this is the magic of our village. Breakfast is included among our services. There are no grocery stores: go up with groceries. We have 3 other accommodations (1 with private hydro tub and sauna and 1 with private hydro tub in enclosed veranda) and for info write to us. The space The apartment has stone and wood finishes, respecting the warmth of our tradition. Inside you will find the courtesy service for the bathroom (including slippers), and everything you need for the kitchen (oils, salt, vinegar, sugar, tea, coffee, detergents...). In the breakfast basket, included in the cost of the stay, you will find many homemade products such as our cakes, wholemeal bread with figs and nuts, jam made with the fruit of the trees of our orchards, products from the Aosta Valley such as milk, butter and yogurt and again cornflakes, muesli, fruit juices. Remember that in our small mountain village there are no shops: before going up it is convenient to shop. With a view to increasing environmental sustainability, we have completely eliminated single-use plastic. Access to the apartment does not have steps and/or stairs and, at night, there is the lighting of both your private property (with ignition from inside the apartment) and the driveway from the parking lot with presence detectors. Directly from your accommodation you can start hiking and activities in all seasons of the year: on foot along the many kilometers of trails (including the prestigious Mont Fallère Tour), with mountain biking, hiking and mountaineering skiing and snowshoeing (for the latter you can rent at the property) or fun descents with the sled (rental in the structure). In the stream and on the lake you can practice fishing (also with a companion). The outdoor jacuzzi for a healthy detox after a hike, (paid service and no longer available from the end of September to the end of May except for different weather conditions) to pamper yourself and relax, is for your exclusive use at the time of your reservation. In the summer it is available from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with reservation by 12:00 pm and, last entrance at 6:30 pm. Provide towels, slippers, a glass of wine or another drink; an hour and thirty of jacuzzi costs €30.00 per couple. As for the heating, we replaced the pellet stove with the latest generation electric radiators with low consumption and high performance since the energy provided comes 100% from renewable sources and, in winter, the fire pit is turned on in the dehors so you can continue to relax on the lounge chairs with a warm blanket in front of the fire. In the structure you will find a well-stocked library and board games. Laundry service for a fee, while we provide, upon request, ironing board and ironing board. Our mission is, therefore, to offer guests tranquility, nature and hospitality. Some information about the cleanliness of the listings: considering our "mission" of a serene and relaxing stay, we also want to add that of the personal safety of our guests. For this purpose, we want to emphasize not only the cleanliness, which is personally cared for by the property, but also on the disinfection of our homes. After normal cleaning, ALL surfaces and objects are disinfected with alcohol and/or bleach products. In addition, a dispenser with a disinfectant solution is available in each accommodation. We remind you that grocery stores and restaurants are all located down in the central valley about 20 minutes from the property. Guest access The accommodation is on the ground floor of the building in front of which there is a small private outdoor area (with evening lighting) equipped with a bench, table, chairs, umbrella and wooden sunbed and from which, you can enjoy the splendid view of the mountains of the Aosta Valley. Our parking spaces are free but unattended, therefore, the property is not liable for damage caused by third parties. Other things to note The property is immersed in an oasis of peace and tranquility and, these, are the sensations we want to give our guests. Therefore, we DON'T love shouting, shouting, and too noisy games. For this reason, we do not host families with children of young age. Parties and events are not allowed, as well as hosting third people in your apartment without the consent of the owners.
