The beautiful 34 mile long Sandstone Trail and Iron Age hill forts are a leisurely five minute walk from the Cottage, whilst Delamere Forest, Beeston, Peckforton and Cholmondeley Castles are within easy reach by car or bike. Across the border into North Wales there are stunning beaches, mountains and more castles to explore. The historic market town of Frodsham is less than one mile away and offers a wide range of shops including a deli and wine merchant, traditional baker and greengrocer along with pubs, restaurants and cafes housed in some of the town’s historic 17th Century listed buildings.
