´El Cielo’ is situated just behind the church in the old town. The house, completely restored, as three floors (with a total of about 100m2) with a stunning rooftop terrace on top (highest in the village, your above all the other houses), three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house breath a warm Spanish atmosphere with the modern luxury of today. All facilities as bakery, butcher, minimarket, pharmacy and the main square are within 5 minutes walking . Very close to climbing crags. The space he house is situated behind the old church (dated back to 1600) in the highest part of the village (El Cielo, Heaven) It has a lovely private rooftop terrace to get the sun during the day, having dinners or chill out at night enjoying the amazing mediterranean skies full of stars. Infront of the house there’s a little “plaza” where we have a small table for you to enjoy your early morning coffee. The house has two floors, the third is the roofterrace. Downstairs you enter in the house in an open kitchen-living area with with a large cosy dinning table. The first toilet and wash basin is also situated on the ground floor. First Floor we have a separate tv/ reading room with a nice balcony. The main bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet (all bathrooms are completely new). A bedroom with standard double bed and again a balcony. Second floor you find a laundry room, a bedroom with two single beds and a bedroom with a Queen sized bed. The two bedrooms have stunning views from there French balcanies over the village. All rooms are very light with balcony doors and equipped with ceiling fans. Guest access Guests have free acces to the whole house, as it has an extra living room there’s always space to retreat. Other things to note Living behind the church means you live in one of the most authentic and beautiful old zones of Chulilla, at the highest point of the village with amazing views. The little “plaza”where the house is situated is traffic free, tidy and full of flowers (the smell of jasmines will welcome you at the frontdoor).You can't excess the house by car, walking 2 to 4 min from the main plaza. You will hear the church bells ring in the morning for morning prayers if there's a service (around 9.00-9.30) and in the evening for Mass around 19.00. The bells also mark the (half) and hours, 24hrs. As the house has 3 levels with stairs we don’t recommend it for families with small kids. There are several climbing and hiking possibilities just at your doorstep. The largest climbing area (Oasis, Balcon, Cañaveral) is a 15 minutes drive or 50 minutes walk away. The nearest crag is about 5 minutes walking distance (Peñeta). You can start walking “La ruta De La Puentes Colgantes” literally at the end of our little street.
