The Barn at Middlebury is within a 10 min. walk of the village center and 15 min to Middlebury College. The renovated barn is attached to the owners' residence. The separate guest quarters have a private entrance and include 3 newly renovated bedrooms, with two baths. The 1st floor bedroom has a Livingroom, kitchenette (Nespresso, microwave, Ref/Freezer, dishwasher, sink). Washer/Dryer. The 2 other 2nd Fl bedrooms share a large private bath. A terrace and screened porch is available. The first floor bedroom and living space have a private bath with two second floor bedrooms that share a separate private bath. Guests have a first floor living/guest room/entrance area with a Jøtul gas glass front stove, television, desk, kitchenette and private bath with a shower. The king bed has a firm mattress with a down mattress topper, fine cotton and linen sheets and a down comforter. A coffee maker (Nespresso), teapot, refrigerator/Freezer, dishwasher, toaster and microwave are in the small kitchenette area. There is not a cooking stove or hot plate. Washer/Dryer. The second floor bedroom has a Jøtul gas fireplace, a king bed, a down mattress topper, fine thread cotton sheets, a down comforter and a small desk. French doors open to a balcony, providing a light and airy feeling. A closet (with ironing board and iron) is in the hall leading to a spacious private bath. The third bedroom with a queen bed, at the end of the hall, shares the private bath. A private access to the guest quarters is just off the guest parking area. There is private parking for 3 vehicles. Walk around to the back yard for use of the terrace and the screened porch with a Franklin Fireplace. Walk to town via sidewalks. Your hosts are available for assistance at any time. The owners living space is separate from the BNB but within the building. Additional cots are available. Let us know ahead of time and we can make accommodations. We do have a pack and play travel crib for infants. The Barn at Middlebury is one of the most elegant stays in Middlebury. Walk in 9 minutes to the center of the village of Middlebury and in 15 minutes to Middlebury College, the Sports center, the Mahaney Art Center and restaurants. Skiing at the Snow Bowl is a 20 minute drive, the 18 hole Ralph Myhre golf course is within 10 minutes drive while Burlington and the Burlington airport is a 55 minute drive. We do not allow pets.
