250 acres with panoramic mountain views! Every room has its own temperature control & most bedrooms have an electric fireplace. The living room and dining rooms also each have fireplaces. We have a leather lift chair in the living room. Two full bathrooms: one with a large shower and one with a slipper tub & hand held shower. Half bath downstairs. All beds have mattress toppers for added comfort, all mattresses and pillows have protectors. Sheets are soft! Outdoor grill & wood firepit. The space 10 minutes to Lock'n! 20 to 25 minutes from Liberty University We have spectacular hiking on our 250 acres and also we are only 2 minutes from The Virginia Blue Ridge Railway Trail: (12 miles of walking or horseback riding with beautiful views ), we also offer badminton, volleyball, Croquet , horseback riding for equestrians, fishing(bring equipment), plus numerous board games. 10 minutes from Lock'n. We are just 20 minutes from Wintergreen Ski Resort 15 minutes to Crabtree Falls, 46 miles to the Natural Bridge and also only 25 minutes from Lynchburg; 40 minutes from Charlottesville. Panoramic mountains views from all over our 250 acres with creeks and the property borders the Maple Run River. We are close to several wineries, breweries and distilleries which all offer tours. Hunting is allowed on property during the season. Access to Winton Country Club with Golf, just 5 minutes from property, call for additional fees. ( Our water is a well and it is spectacular mountain spring water and has a triple filtration system. House is equipped with all pans, utensils, dishes, flatware, coffee makers, blender, ice maker, washer/dryer, shampoo, soap, hair dryers,outdoor grill, firepit, outdoor table for 12 (can add more if needed) Guest access Guests have access to the home and property excluding the fenced areas where we keep our horses and our barns and sheds. If the guests like to hike please use insect repellents during the summertime. We have spectacular views all over the property. The Maple Run River borders the property. Fishing and hiking on the property or the Piney River which is a few minutes down our road. Rosemill Trail runs for miles along the Piney River! Spectacular vistas all over the property! Other things to note 4 horses are on the property in fenced area, please stay outside the fenced areas. We will allow guests to interact with horses as long as we are present or give permission. We also have a security system on the property.
