The Loft

The Loft has been rated 3 stars by Gites de France. You will appreciate its light, its beautiful volumes, its private terrace, the swimming pool, the garden available during the day. Its location is ideal: you are on the GR and in Lodève; small errands and visits can be done on foot in 5 minutes. Nearby, Lake Salagou, Montpellier, Cirque de Navacelles, Couvertoirade (City of the Templars), Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, Gorges de l'Hérault. Beaches are 45 minutes away, the mountain opposite! The space This 80 m2 loft is dual-aspect, bordered by a terrace and a balcony. It has a large bedroom with a 160 double bed, and another extra bed if needed, another large bedroom with three single beds and a kitchen-dining room, living room (with the possibility of an extra bed), a bathroom with an Italian shower. All rooms have French doors and facing west, with a pleasant view of the surrounding mountains. You will appreciate the green setting, the light, the serene atmosphere. The garden and pool are obviously open to you. “You say?” “Yes, it's not bad at all as a place!” For the record, the building in which we welcome you is located by the river “la Soulondre” and houses the remains of an old 18th century megisserie (where the skins were washed before being tanned). Its location is ideal for a green holiday: you are on the GR and the Chemin de Saint-Jacques and at the foot of the old town of Lodève, small shops, visits are within walking distance in 5 minutes. An activity room, on the ground floor, with a foosball table, a kitchen and outdoor amenities complete this offer. A common room on the same floor gives you access to books, information about the area, games, toys, and some equipment to share (that's the spirit) with guests from the other two cottages. Vacuum cleaner, ironing board, hair dryer, washing machine. To give you an idea of where we are, we are a 10-minute drive from Lake Salagou, 35 minutes from Montpellier, Béziers or Sète, at the foot of Larzac and not far from remarkable sites such as the Cirque de Navacelle, the village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert and the Gorges de l'Hérault. Beautiful walks in perspective, on foot or by bike. We also provide you with two electric bikes. Be careful though, the street is accessible by car but there is a wide passage of 2.17 m to negotiate if you want to come and drop off your luggage. Then you will have to turn around to park on the dock just before or in town where parking is free. Thank you for your understanding, we are on a departure from GR (long hiking trail). Guest access Guests have access to the apartment through a separate entrance and can also enjoy a private terrace facing west and its mesmerizing sunsets. A pool in the garden is shared. Welcome.
