I'm excited to welcome folks who are traveling safely as things open back up. **The area is quiet and residential, the home is not suitable for boisterous parties or group gatherings.** There is one exterior camera on the front porch. Big friendly front porch with a table and chairs, and a great view of the beautiful tree-lined street. Gorgeous landscaping welcomes you as you pull in the drive. The living room has a large comfy couch, smart HDTV with basic network channels and streaming apps, wood-burning functional fireplace, books, magazines, games, puzzles, and more to entertain you. The dining room has a large table that seats 8 and beautiful built-in cabinets with plenty of service-ware for entertaining and games. There's also a record player with stereo and Bluetooth pairing. Bedroom one has a King memory foam bed with tufted headboard and is like sleeping on a big cloud that you sink right down into and don't move all night. HDTV with streaming services and Blu-Ray/DVD player. Bedroom two has a queen mattress and large windows and natural light. Bedroom three has a convertible twin to king bed with comfy thick memory foam mattresses. Also has a dedicated work space with printer and extra monitor. The bathroom features a bathtub with a shower with awesome water pressure, commode, and large vanity sink. The basement is unfinished and used for storage, but there are laundry machines down there for your use. The kitchen has a gas stove, Air fryer, Soda Stream, Keurig, toaster oven, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge/freezer. There is an island with a drop down leaf. There's a pretty big fenced-in backyard, lots of established landscaping, large propane grill, and patio furniture with an umbrella. This is my main residence and I do have a dog—neither one of us will be there during your stay! However, if you are allergic, this is not the house for you. The whole house, yard, driveway, garage, basement. I'm available and in town during your stay should you have any questions or concerns! If I happen to be traveling myself during your stay, my neighbors will be on call to help with anything that requires in-person attention. The street is quiet, with tons of huge trees, brick roads, lots of families and walkable pathways. Spalding Park is just one block north. There are tennis courts, a skate park, a playground, and a park pavilion for summer picnics. Downtown Champaign: 12 minute walk - Dozens of bars and restaurants - Beautiful beer gardens - Coffee shops and bakeries m West Side Park: 8 minute walk - gazebo, fountain, playgrounds, walking/jogging paths Illinois Terminal (Amtrak, Greyhound, local bus hub) is a 15 minute walk away. There are bus stops within 2 blocks to access Champaign-Urbana's award-winning mass transit system. Uber, Lyft, plenty of taxi companies. Free parking.
