It sits in a great neighborhood with tree lined streets —you will love this cozy little home away from home. The space This English styled basement apt has a living room with loveseat, modern leather chair and flat screen TV and practically a whole library of books to enjoy ! The bedroom has a comfortable full sized bed and is separated from the living area by glass french doors. Guests will appreciate having their own washer & dryer. They will also like the fully stocked kitchenette —with full sized fridge and everything you need for cooking except a stove. (electric hot plates, toaster oven and microwave, electric skillet, blender etc.. ) There is a full bath with stand up shower and heat lamp where there is also a double sided sink with disposal. There are several small windows that let light in and plenty of recessed lighting. There is also a wall mounted gas fireplace to enjoy in the fall and winter. Just outside the private gated entrance there is a small deck with sitting area. On the street in front of the house there is plenty of free parking. There are approx. 6 steps up from the street to get to main apt entryway and then 6 steps down to living area once inside. PLEASE NOTE Like a typical basement, ceilings: are not that high, so if you are over 6 feet tall we recommend looking at one of our other properties. This is a very quiet basement apt in single family home. One person owner lives upstairs. The Cozy English Basement is a perfect spot for a traveling professional or a guest wanting to come explore the area. Suited for one guest only. Pets on a case by case basis with an additional cleaning fee. PLEASE NOTE: if the dates do not appear available. PLEASE NOTE: All major holidays ( Local: Apple Blossom National: Christmas/ Thanksgiving/ New years ) will include an additional $100 fee. This fee will be requested prior to guests arrival. Thermostat is in upstairs unit which is occupied by the owner but Apt is kept at cool temp in summer and nice and warm in winter. A sound machine is provided on the stairs for guests use on the stairway to limit any sound traveling between the two levels. Please note: Stays over 3 weeks will incur an additional double cleaning fee. Guests have the option to have mid stay cleanings or pay double at the end of their stay.
