Cosy Lodge at the Brown Hen, near Bandon / Kinsale

Whilst set in a countryside location with panoramic views of the West Cork Vista, the Lodge is ideally situated near a variety of restaurants, shops, pubs & visitor attractions. After you check in, you can enjoy a gorgeous meal at a nearby restaurant, sleep in a comfortable room, enjoy a light continental breakfast in your bedroom the next morning and then explore everything Cork has to offer ! We look forward to welcoming you to the Brown Hen ! The space The Lodge (with its own entrance) is adjacent to our own home, is quiet and private. The accommodation is newly appointed and of traditional style. A private side entrance leads you into a small hallway, giving access to a cosy Double room and a Garden Suite. Both beds are large and of King size, both memory foam mattresses & luxury bed linen. Two ensuites with power showers, toilet, basin, soft towels, extensive range of toiletries. Our Garden Suite is a larger room with comfortable seating for 4 people and a super view of the Garden & the West Cork landscape. There is a breakfast table in both rooms with seating. A self service continental breakfast is provided in the Kitchenette, which is part of the Garden Suite. A kettle, coffee maker, microwave, good sized fridge, toaster (with the facility to cook eggs anyway you prefer), and crockery, etc are also present. There is no facility to cook at the Lodge but there is plenty of eating out options in the locality, 5 minutes drive from our home. It is our goal to deliver a high-end, personal & comfortable experience and we have tried to cover every necessity. We are available, as you need, should you require anything more to make your stay more enjoyable. There is no capacity for extra beds or a cot in this accommodation. We cannot accommodate more than 4 persons. Guest access Guests have access to the Lodge through a private side entrance and will have their own key to the premises for the duration of their stay. You can also enjoy the shared patio and the front garden. The Lodge shares a courtyard with our own home. Other things to note Guests with allergies should be aware that there are animals in the local area. The Lodge is located on a dairy farm.
