Pet-friendly downtown apt

Cozy and comfortable 1-bedroom apartment on the first floor of a triplex blocks from downtown Red Wing. Apartment is within walking distance to the riverfront and Main Street and in close proximity to Memorial Park & Barn Bluff Trailhead. **Listing price includes a 3% City of Red Wing lodging tax. The space This is a small 1BR apartment best-suited for 1-2 adult guests. (We list max occupancy as 4 primarily in order to accommodate a small family of 2 adults and 2 younger children.) There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a pull-out couch in the living room. Our apartment is a roomy and open private apartment in a corner lot triplex. The apartment has a lot of windows to allow plenty of natural light. You will have the whole apartment to yourself, but there are other tenants in the building. The only shared space is the building's front door and entryway, which is shared with the apartment upstairs. Guests are welcome to enjoy the front porch and the yard. Large 49" Smart TV with sound bar in living room with access to streaming services. IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE: HOSTS NOT ON SITE: We do not live on site. Both of the other apartments in the building are occupied by other long-term tenants. SHARED BUILDING/NOISE FROM OTHER TENANTS: The AirBNB apartment is the lower unit in a triplex, so there will be noise from the other tenants. It may be more noticeable if you are not used to living in a building with other apartments/tenants. One of the other apartments is around the side/back of the main part of the building. That is a separate apt occupied by tenants and is not part of the AirBNB. The building is also near downtown on a main street, so there will be noise from traffic. Being from Minneapolis, we don't notice the noise from traffic, but others might. SECOND BED: The second "bed" in the apartment is a pull-out located in the living room. BATHROOM: The only bathroom is inside the bedroom. It is only accessible through the bedroom. AIR CONDITIONING: The air conditioning is a window unit in the living room. There is NO central air. However, there are ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom and a stand-up fan in the living room that can help blow the cooler air from the air conditioner in the living room into the bedroom. Also, you are welcome to turn off the air conditioning and open the windows for fresh air instead, as the nights can be cool and fresh in Minnesota. Guest access Guests have complete access to unit, front porch and yard. Other things to note Red Wing offers easy access to a lot of outdoor activities. The Cannon Valley Trail (paved bike trail) starts in Red Wings and runs to Cannon Falls. There's also local mountain biking trails, hiking at Barn Bluff, and river access (including fishing). Close to Welch for skiing and mountain biking. If you're not the outdoors type, Red Wing has a lot to offer in terms of local shopping, restaurants and art, as well as local festivals. Kitchen currently stocked with toaster, coffee pot, coffee mugs, plates, bowls, drinking glasses, a large skillet, a large stockpot, a standard-size saucepan, two rectangular casserole/baking dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils. There is oil and salt and pepper but no other cooking ingredients. The City of Red Wing requires the collection of a 3% city lodging tax that is paid to the Visitor Convention Bureau. This tax is charged and paid at booking as it is included in the nightly rate.
