You’ll relax and unwind at The Old Liberty Schoolhouse. A remodeled schoolhouse is now a B&B. Located on a hill with five gated acres. This upstairs suite is a 600 sq. ft, bedroom with queen size bed, private bath, living area with a small kitchenette area, flat screen TV, and wifi. A sofa bed can sleep two more guests. The kitchenette has a microwave, refrigerator, and a Keurig. Guests have access to the grounds and patio. Complimentary coffee, and soda. Guests love our breakfast! The Old Liberty Schoolhouse has gone through many changes over the years. However, you can still see the children’s playground equipment which they called “The Acting Bar”. You can ring the school bell and envision where children played in the school yard. Guests will find complimentary coffee with supplies, sodas, waters, and snacks in the refrigerator. This suite can accommodate up to 4 adults. We allow self check in. Enjoy the schoolhouse grounds. Enjoy sitting at The Red Barn Patio (used by all Guests) is peaceful and serene to begin the day facing the east to watch the sunrise. Stargaze in the evening or in amazement admire unbelievable sunrises come over the ridge. At times there are critters roaming the pastures. Sometimes they’re in the yard! For example, you may see turkey, raccoons, foxes, and deer at night. We live on site. You might see us coming and going or working in yard. Just phone or text us if you need help with something. We are happy to help. One of the many marinas to Eagle Mountain Lake is a walk or short drive down the street. From our side entrance gate, one can see the lake at the end of the street looking east. People walk and bike around the neighborhood. We do have space to park a boat if the guest needs a place. Covered parking is available for staying guests. We do have space to park a boat. Guests will have to arrange their own transportation. Guests enter and exit through the main double gate. Since the property is gated, guests will be given a code for entry. We provide toiletries. Breakfast is brought to the suite. Or you can let us know if you would like to eat breakfast on the patio.
