This romantic and unique tiny house alike boat is located in the city centre amid highraise buildings and an idyllic harbor. It's purely Dutch design and you definitely will fall in love! Wikkelboat's smart interior offers you great comfort with airco & heating and is perfectly isolated. It has a unique Harbour Wellness (sauna, icebath and terrace) and a private jacuzzi on front terrace both included. Public transport is nextdoor and we offer cycling, breakfast & boating as optional services. The space "Wikkelen" is the Dutch word for wrapping; this boathouse (32m2) is mainly made of wrapped cardboard and it's loaded with luxury facilities. At both sides of the Wikkelboat a terrace of 6x2.5m2 is located, with a lounge set, seats to enjoy the view on the White House or to just jump into the water. You'll definitely enjoy the tranquillity at the water while being in the city heart of Rotterdam..and you won't notice it from the noise...the house is also well isolated! It's also equipped with a great airco, heating & ventilation system, a small kitchen, a cool BarrelQ-BBQ outside and has a small but practical bathroom. The Wikkelboat consists of two separate private entries with a wall with glass door & curtains in between. Unique: Free access to our brand new and unique Harbour Wellness just nextdoor! (booking in advance but free) Guest access We have loads of included services and extra options: Included: - BarrelQ BBQ outside on the terrace - Jump into the water and take a short swim - Lounge at two terraces (6x2.5 meters), one with a small table, the other with a huge wall weather proof lounge set - Our unique and brand new Harbour Wellness with a floating panoramic sauna, a hottub, icebath and terrace (free usage 1 hour per day during your stay, buy you need to reserve it with us, easy to do after your booking) In your paid fee is E15 pppn included for access to our wellness facilities. Options: - For a small supplement (~€50) you book an early checkin (13.30h) or a late check-out (12.30h, €35) - Get a superb (inter)continental breakfast buffet at neighboring Ibis Hotel or lunch set at your boat per person daily - Park your car along our harbor (€25 per day, starting check-in time until 11am check-out day) or from €17,50 in indoor parking under the Markethall (5mins walking) per 24 hours (when preregistered online at their website) - Rent our romantic boat Walli for €25 to make a nice old harbour tour for yourself (1,5 hours) - Rent our 2 Schiller Waterbikes, a unique way to discover the historic city centre waters- €25 for 1 hour or €40 per 2 hours, per bike. It has a front seat so 1 adult or 2 kids can sit on the front as well, we also rent 2 SUPs, a cano for 2-3 persons and a kayak - Rent our good bikes to discover the city (from €15 per bike) Other things to note Please be aware of the neighboring water as there are no fences to prevent falling into the water.
