Description
This charming apartment is located beneath the hosts home as seen in the pictures. The apartments location is ideal for touring the island because it is located approximately half way between the south and north. The motorway is about an 8 minute drive away. Once on the motorway the choice is yours go north or south. There many beaches to choose from the nearest being a 10 minute drive away. If you like mountain stuff (para gliding etc), hiking, water sports or just walking you have it here. The space The apartment is self contained and occupies the lower ground floor of the hosts' house and is accessed via an electric gated drive. The recently added wooden building with its attractive wooden beamed ceiling leads into the renovated bedrooms. The specious wooden part is used as a living/ dining room with a new modern kitchen. The bedrooms area is rustic and has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The ceilings here are on a lower side (195 cm/6.4ft ground to ceiling). This part has been renovated and furnished in a simple modest style. There's a big private yard and garden that the guests are welcome to use (shared with the hosts). Plenty of parking space secured by our electric gates. The double bedroom has some sea view. Other windows are mainly looking at the yard & garden. From the outside of the apartment you get fantastic panoramic views of the ocean & typical rural landscape of Tenerife. The location is tranquil peaceful and rural. A good starting point if you want to drive around the island as it is in the middle of the eastern coastal area of the island. You are most likely to need a car here. The closest beach is about 10 minutes drive. The motorway is about 8-9 minutes drive. To get to the popular resorts of the south is about 30 minutes drive. To the capital Santa Cruz is about 30 minutes drive. The centre of the small town of Fasnia is about a ten minute walk away but be warned the return walk would be about twenty minutes as it is uphill. In the town there are 3 bars that serve food and snacks, 2 small grocery shops, a pharmacy, banks, petrol station, outdoor gym, etc. As this is a volcanic island all walks are generally interrupted by hills and steep areas. Fitness and temperatures depending on time of year must be considered. We the hosts live upstairs and have a separate entrance. We will be happy to help and assist you in any way possible to make your stay with us not only enjoyable but comfortable. We will respect your space & privacy and expect the same from you. Please also note that check in and checkout times can be flexible and is usually dependent on other guests leaving and new ones arriving so if you have any special time requests please check with us and we will try and accommodate you. Guest access The property has a large garden which is available for guests to use. The guests will have a remote for the electric gates enabling them to come and go as they please. They have a private door to the apartment which is exclusively theirs and not shared. Other things to note A car is really a must. It should also be noted that the height in the bedrooms is 1.95m or 6.4Ft. If you are taller than this then a little bending is needed.
