After being surrounded by the beautiful nature of Valsesia, nothing is more relaxing than being cuddled from our simple and warm cottage, framed by the green and in full tranquility. Coccola nel Bosco is located in Scopello, 4 min. from the ski resort of Alpe di Mera and 15 min. from the ski resort Monterosa Ski of Alagna and is equipped with all the comforts - garage included to make you and your loved ones spend magical moments of relaxation. Renovated in 2025! The space The apartment is located on the second floor of a recent building surrounded by nature, but 2 minutes from the center of Scopello. We did a small renovation in 2025, updating the kitchen, floors, boiler, and making a few other improvements—also thanks to our guests’ helpful suggestions. With dedicated parking less than 20 meters away or private large garage, you can store your suitcases and equipment in the large cellar and then go upstairs to relax in front of a glass of good wine. Equipped with all comforts, at the entrance we have a living area with fireplace in masonry, in front of which the sofa can become a bed to live unforgettable evenings in front of the heat of the fire ... or why not, in front of one of the latest TV series of Netfiix. Fiber Wi-Fi super fast in all the apartment is available. Continuing we find the kitchen with a dishwasher, induction cooktop and the table (extendable) equipped with everything necessary to accommodate up to 7 people. A corridor leads us to the bathroom and the large bedroom with its king size mattress. But the real masterpiece is found back in the living room, where a wooden staircase leads us to the nest of the house: a small attic that offers a single bed and another double bed: immersed in the wood and with a glance at the fireplace, the relax will be total. The apartment has two beautiful balconies, where you can better enjoy the magical nature of Valsesia. Guest access Scopello is located in Valsesia, in the department of Vercelli, at 659 meters of altitude, along the banks of the river Sesia. It can be reached in 1.30h from Milan and even the final part of the state road SP299 is not very complicated in all seasons. Reaching our house is very easy once you arrive in the center of Scopello: just follow the signs to Frazione Chioso for less than 1 km, and you will find the house Il Bosco on the right. A free parking is located right in front of the house, near a huge field that in winter turns into an attraction for toboggans and children, as well as a beautiful cross-country ski trail. From the parking start many paths for more or less challenging walks or great cycling. For skiing we have the chairlift to Alpe di Mera at 4 minutes from home (between 1,500 and 1,700 m. with 30 km of ski area in addition to the brand new Snowpark, with a cost of skipass/day between 25 and 35 €) or Alagna with its Moterosa Ski, at an altitude between 1,212 and 3,275 m. and with 130 km of slopes (35/50€ skipass/day) that connect with Gressoney-La-Trinité, Champoluc and Frachey. In the summer period it is possible to organize barbecues in various equipped areas on the river bank, which can be reached by a very comfortable pedestrian road, also for baby carriages and baby carriages. Other things to note Valsesia is known as the greenest valley in Italy, thanks to the typical lush vegetation, the exclusive walks in uncontaminated valleys and, for the most experienced tourists, the ascents to the highest peaks in Europe. As for the winter season, it offers unique opportunities thanks to its peaks that exceed 4,000 meters, the snow-covered valleys and breathtaking views. Set in this fairy-tale landscape is Alagna, an unmissable destination for sports enthusiasts. Thanks to the connection with Valle d'Aosta, Monterosa Ski is one of the largest ski areas in Europe, with its 180 km of slopes. There are many refuges on the slopes that offer refreshment, with lunches and dinners based on typical products such as meat and polenta, the opportunity to relax in the sun or spend a characteristic night at high altitude. But Alagna does not offer fun only to "classic" skiers. Those who are looking for strong emotions can find dozens of kilometers of freeride, along uncontaminated spaces within the Alta Valsesia Natural Park, under the shadow of the massive Monte Rosa. For this reason in Europe is known as "freeride paradise". In recent years it is recognized as a destination of great interest also water sports (canoeing, rafting), hiking and mountain biking.
