No16 Riverside Walk is a 2 storey 1st floor 2 bedroom 2 bathroom self catering apartment forming part of a listed former corn mill known as Airton Mill Nestling alongside the River Aire in the pretty Yorkshire Dales village of Airton stunning riverside views and beautiful countryside can be admired from the apartment. Relax in the communal garden area or walk into Malham by the riverside. Grassington the home of the fictional town of Darrowby in All creatures great and small is only 9 miles away The space PLEASE READ THE OTHER THINGS TO NOTE SECTION BEFORE BOOKING. Also we do accept children of all ages however there are steep staircases within the property so all children must be supervised. Lead guests strictly over 18 years of age. Over 2 floors, the apartment features many of the original oak beams. It offers accommodation for up to 4 people and provides an excellent base for many stunning walks and cycle rides. Conveniently, The Pennine Way/ Dales Way passes the front of the mill along the river. Free parking. There is also a communal garden/picnic area within the grounds of the mill. Originally the apartment comprised of only 1 floor before the loft was converted creating further spacious accommodation, including an ensuite with large walk in shower. The loft features a Super King size bed which can be separated to create two single beds if required. The first floor includes a bedroom featuring a King Size bed and views of the river below. This floor further includes a bathroom with shower and small bath, a stylish living room with enough seating for 4 people and a well equipped kitchen diner (including washing machine) with oak beams and views of the river below. The apartment has free WiFi and its own Netflix account for you to use while you stay with us. Guests can also enjoy a free Yorkshire welcome basket on arrival. 1 free parking space is available; further parking can be found by the bridge Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: We do accept children of all ages however please be aware there are steep stair cases within the property so children must be supervised. Lead guests over 18 years of age. Airton Mill is not a holiday complex. Some of the apartments are home to a number of permanent residents. All guests must be aware of their noise levels when moving around the apartment. As with all apartments a minimal amount of noise may be heard from our elderly neighbours. Please be considerate when using the outside areas and use only 1 parking space as permitted. If guests arrive in more than 1 car, parking by the bridge is free. It is advised you have access to a vehicle as taxis can be expensive and not always readily available. No pets allowed. No parties including hen or stag parties. No cycles allowed in the property. No visitors allowed in the property only guests staying. The property is a holiday let only and must not be booked to be used as a primary residence. You will be staying in someone’s home so please use the apartment with care. There is a maximum occupancy of 4 guests and an additional charge for any more than 2 guests staying so when booking please state how many people will be staying in the property. If there are more people staying than stated on the booking confirmation you will be required to pay for the further guests. The apartment may not be suitable for anyone with impaired mobility due to the steep staircase required to access the first floor. There is another steep staircase leading to the loft bedroom. Please be aware the apartment is not in central Malham it is in Malhamdale. Malham is 2 miles away. As mentioned Airton is a small village, it does not have a pub and obviously has limited amenities. If you are looking for a location which has lots of different amenities restaurants and pubs then sone of the larger villages like Malham or Settle may be more suitable. However if you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful location to stay, with great views, a farm shop with tea rooms and scenic walks then Airton is a perfect location. (The farm shop and tea rooms is closed Mondays unless it’s a bank holiday.) There is no or limited mobile signal in the apartment. The best places to get a signal (2 mins walk away) are highlighted in our guest information folder in the apartment. You can access Wi-Fi calling from the apartment if your mobile phone permits and you are logged onto the Wi-Fi. There is currently no tv in the loft bedroom
