The Farm House

Our cottages are situated in the rolling hills of Wales. On a 18th century smallholding, sitting in its own private valley, with 24 acres of forest - ancient trees, little streams, natural gardens and adjoining 2000 acres of heather-clad moorland. A peaceful, and quiet location with sounds of bird songs and nature. Great for nature lovers and romantic getaways! The space The Farm House has 2 large bedrooms upstairs, 1 with a super king bed and the other a king size bed. Both have their own private on-suites with the main bedroom having a stunning free standing bath and the other a small shower and toilet. All your luxury bedding including towels are provided. Downstairs we have a beautiful newly decorated living area with a log burner and a small bedroom off the side with a double bed - please note guests using this bedroom will need to share an en-suite upstairs, perfect for families with children! The kitchen / dining area is open plan and has a large dining table, fridge freezer and new electric oven. All your cooking utensils provided including a dishwasher. The log burning stove is what heats the radiators and hot water, we will switch the immersion on so you will have instant hot water. But for heating you will need to light the log burner for the radiators to heat up. We also have electric heaters provided also. The front porch has a small laundry room with a washing machine and airers. The internet café has OS maps you can use also also DVDs and a book collection along with some games and kids books. A perfect cottage for a family to spend time together! Relax, unwind and re-connect. Guest access Wifi is available in the house There is also very poor (none) mobile reception here so there is an on-site pay phone available 24/7, which has freephone emergency neighbour contacts should no one be here and you need anything. There is 24 acres of woodland which you are free to explore and plenty of walks with OS maps available in our Internet cafe. Other things to note We also charge a £10 per dog per stay surcharge which can be paid on arrival. We are located 2 mile up a single track country lane, there is also a small ford you need will drive through to get into the property.
