Antica Casa Balsari is an ancient residence with the vocation to make people feel good, gently transporting them into the past and making them feel at home. Imagine entering a fragrant Italian garden, with centuries-old camellias and olea fragrans. Precious silence, antique furniture, musical instruments, the scent of antique wood. The house loves music, and each apartment has a collection of CDs and musical instruments. On Friday nights, there are classical music and jazz concerts. We look forward to seeing you! The space The apartment is a three-room apartment of about 78 square meters, part of a structure that dates back to about 1695. It is located on the second floor of the complex and overlooks the internal garden on one side and the main square of the village on the other. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. The decor is a mix of antique and modern. The furniture is a family heirloom. The space is designed to enjoy the atmosphere of the house: the choice of colors creates a relaxed and modern atmosphere. The living room is spacious with a very comfortable sofa that becomes a sofa bed. Antique chest with flat-screen TV. Corner with a relaxing armchair dedicated to music. Stereo system with classical music CDs and books in different languages to enjoy moments of calm. The bedroom is a pleasant environment, with style and very large, an advantage of old houses. Two windows overlooking the main square of the village. Noise-proof windows and curtains. Furnished with a double bed and a queen-size sofa bed. Reading corner with armchair, reading lamp, bar corner and wardrobe complete the decor. The kitchen is livable, cozy and convenient for cooking with a round table with 6 seats. The table can become a work table for those who work remotely. The kitchen is fully equipped, according to the uses of Italian kitchens with antique dishes and serving dishes and glasses for wine tasting. Anteroom with wardrobe and bookcase, bathroom with shower, bidet and washing machine for a comfortable environment. The apartment is equipped with fans, air conditioning in the bedroom and independent heating. Outside: the Italian garden has many corners to enjoy the peace of a centuries-old nature, with a good coffee or a super Italian snack and of course the wines of Upper Piedmont. A two-storey cottage as a relaxation area and a porch with a piano for eating in the shade are pleasant areas of freshness. 1 parking space per apartment is available. It is a very welcoming Italian garden with century-old camellia trees that create an evocative atmosphere at the end of March. Every Italian garden has a secret garden... ours is a peaceful corner surrounded by ancient roses and a collection of aromatic herbs. A BBQ is available to everyone in a cool corner of the garden. It is not available on CONCERT DAY for either lunch or dinner. In the arcades, there are several tables for al fresco dining, an antique piano and a relaxation area on the first floor. If you love cycling, you will find comfortable bicycles for riding in nature, from the Ticino Park to the Solivo Forest. Other things to note Antica Casa Balsari has a total of 7 apartments available to tourists. The house loves music, so each apartment is dedicated to an important musician. You will find collections of CDs, dedicated books, and musical instruments. In the common areas, there is a piano and bookcases with books in all languages. Sometimes on Fridays we host jazz and classical music concerts. Over time, the House has become a place of musical research.
