My one bedroom apartment is located in Chinatown /Little Italy in downtown Manhattan. This location has easy access to everything NY has to offer. I love being able to share my space with others. This is ideal for 1 person that is coming to NYC to visit or for work, it can be noisy in the daytime being a vibrant part of downtown where there are lots of restaurants and shops but after 9/10 pm it dies down. Please Note: NO SMOKING, NO LOUD MUSIC, NO PARTY, NO PETS. My one bedroom+small room/living area, walk up railroad apartment is located on the third floor of the building which faces the street. The building is over a hundred years old and carries the character of historic Chinatown building within its interior. The shower and toilet are divided into two different rooms ( as one can see on the photos). You'll have access to the entire apartment, minus one closet used for personal storage in the main bedroom. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans & utensils so you can prepare your own meals if you like. Either I or someone I designate as my representative can be available to "check you in" and answer any questions you might have during your stay. Chinatown is located in downtown Manhattan bordering the Lower East Side to the East, Little Italy to the North, Nolita, Soho, Civic Center to the South and Tribeca to the West. There are lots of restaurants to try an great food all around. The shopping area known as SOHO is a 5 minute walk as is Canal Street shopping. The Manhattan Bridge is a minute away which gives you easy access to Brooklyn if you want to venture. The apartment is extremely close to NY's reliable subway lines, it is 4 short blocks from the J, Z, 6, N, Q, and R. Utizing the subway will give you access to all the tourist areas and sites to see in Manhattan from uptown to downtown. Easy transfers to most other train lines available, including Penn Station & Grand Central for trains outside of NYC. The building is almost 100 years old but extremely well maintained. The apartment is built in a "railroad" style which means that the bathroom is divided into a toilet in one room with the sink and shower in another room. The room with the toilet is located within a room that houses a small daybed, it simply be used to store clothes/ luggage. Once you walk through the kitchen you have the separate shower room with sink. Finally in my bedroom you have large windows with blackout curtains and a comfortable full size mattress. This is a great apt if you're coming to NYC as a tourist or for work where you wont be in the apt all day cause it can be loud at times. The apt is on one of the most busiest blocks in downtown.
