We Also have a great 900 square foot Zen-do that you can come and meditate in. Don't be surprised to see Dolphins, Manatee, Turtles and small sharks swimming in our estuary. Our property is situated on the Indian River Lagoon just minutes from some of Florida most beautiful waterways and beaches. Once you step inside 'The Cottage has nautical decor and is 450 square feet and will accommodate 3 person, but is a little cramped with fold out bed. You will find a nicely appointed large studio apartment with separate dinning and kitchen area. The unit has flat screen TV and desk as well. You will love the serene nautical feel this cottage has to offer. From a cozy living area, to a fully equipped kitchen, and a wonderful front patio with its private yard. Here you will enjoy private yard while taking your morning coffee. From 'The Cozy Cottage' you can canoe, kayak, paddle board and swim just steps from one of Martin County most beautiful wild life sanctuary. Bring your own boat,dock available for a fee of $25 per night up to 26 ft boat. We are couple minutes from Hawks Bluff on the Savannah's an amazing hike and view of largest Savannah east of Highway US1. Explore, go on a fishing expedition towards the St. Lucie Inlet, or catch some Fish from our wonderful dock. By boat or by car we are just minutes away from Jamming Jensen Beach and Historic Stuart where you will find great restaurants, beautiful shops, and see a play at our famous Lyric Theater. Catch a baseball game with the Mets or Cardinals only 20 minutes away or play a game of golf, Martin County is also known for its famous golf courses. For the business traveler, this central location is ideal for access to West Palm Beach, Indian town, Stuart, and Ft. Pierce or anywhere in between. You will be minutes from I-95, turnpike or US 1. So come, and experience the peace and tranquility abound with the ideal water relaxing view to ease any tensions you might have. Cottages are located between Savannah Preserve and Indian River Lagoon Preserve. Guest see manatees, dolphin, and variety of birds including the osprey and bald eagles that make their home just miles away in the preserve. We do have freight line 300 yards west of the property that runs a few times a day. If you're a light sleeper it can be heard on occasion. We also have a few resident raccoon and possums in the area so we ask guests to keep trash at the front of the property in order to keep our friends back in the preserve. Guest access Guest have access to: Private backyard. Dock available for multiple boats that draw less than 4 feet for $25 dollars night. 900 Square Foot Tiki Zendo for meditation and hanging out. Other things to note No public transportation- car needed. However 1/2 hour walk to beaches and grocery store. You can walk to local eating establishments. Pets will be charged and additional $20 dollar a night fee per pet.
