Treat yourself to a visit to our half-timbered house Anno 1690, renovated in 2019, in the very quiet old town of Stromberg, right by the Schlossbrunnen fountain below the 3 castles. The kitchen on the 2nd floor is excitingly located in the former battlement of the city wall. The medieval building still has the typical steep oak stairs and the ceiling height is outside the norm. Cozy stay in the house and as a starting point for hikers & bikers....for relaxation and adventure... The space First floor: Entrance area with access to the courtyard and sun terrace on the historic vaulted cellar. NEW!!! Another bedroom with a French double bed behind the 1.5-meter-thick city wall. NEW!!! Toilet on the first floor. 2nd floor: Kitchen, dining and living area with fireplace: The good room 3rd floor: Bedroom with separate dressing area, hallway with secretary. In addition, the marble bathroom with sitting and shower tub. 3rd floor: Attic studio can be used as a living room as well as a bedroom. Guest access You have the entire living area and the sun terrace all to yourselves. Other things to note Beds are available for 6 people; 2 bedrooms with double beds and in the living room 2 sofa beds as single beds.
