For those who want, I can ask to open the church of San Bartolomeo to show you the canvas of the Marescalchi S. Giustina, it will seem strange, but it was a well-known tourist destination in the 50s, appreciated for its fresh and fascinating hilly and mountain area and for its strategic position halfway between the very important mountain destinations (Cortina and Cadore in general) and Venice with its sea and its lagoon. In S. Giustina you can find very diverse and diverse environments and places of cultural and landscape interest. In fact, the municipality has 1.a mountain area -Pedemontana and fine hilly, part of the Dolomites Park 2. A valley area marked by the highway path that connects the centers of Feltre and Belluno on which all the various villages of ancient origin, small churches, toll booths, windmills, etc. 3.e a river area where Piave passes with its always different greto and a breathtaking vegetation and landscape, with trails to walk by bike or on foot 4. A beautiful Baroque village that has retained its original shape, which is Meano. If I had to organize an itinerary, I would start right from the visit of Meano, a village or village that has maintained its parish and has a particular urban shape: it develops around a winding inner main road with beautiful courtyards . From the street we only see doors with arches but inside these there are courtyards where all the houses of the "cortivo" overlook. There are beautiful with their still original “rainy”. At the end of the street stands a small but monumental church : it is the church of S.Bartolomeo, attached to the interesting villa Vieceli of the seventeenth century , and a picturesque fountain. In the little church there is a beautiful altarpiece of a certain Piero Marescalchi. From here you continue through the ancient center of Callibago and climb to the beautiful town of Colvago, with the little church of S. Martino and the magnificent Villa dei Bonsembiante, all set in a beautiful landscape and with many well-preserved rural buildings. You go down the charming tree-lined avenue (with centuries-old trees) that runs along the villa to get to near S.Giustina downtown and more specifically in Ignan. Visit the fractional church and, due, the grandiose church of S.Giustina. From the center, passing through Sartena, I would climb to the Col Cumano Center, and continue to Cergnai, another rural village high up on the slopes of Pizzocco, the reference mountain for S. Giustina with its 2187 m. Here we are in the Dolomites Park: If well equipped and trained, it would be interesting to take some excursions to the little church of S. Mauro, bivouac Palmar, Val Darkness or the mythical Pizzocco summit. Another interesting destination is the educational center of Altanon. From there we return to the center of Santa Giustina and head towards Formegan where we visit the church of Santa Margherita, the church of Formegan and the grandiose Biesuz villa. We continue with bicycles along the bike path that takes us to the hamlet of Campo, from where you can access via the serious dirt road of the Piave places of naturalistic and wildlife landscapes: beautiful views also of the villages of the Piave Left and the Feltrine and Bellunesi mountains. Returning on the bike path we continue towards Salzan where you can visit the Mulino and the churches of Santa Libera and San Lorenzo and continue along the dirt roads between the countryside we reach the town of Gravazze and then finish the ring of our route back to Meano. There are buses that connect the town to the main towns nearby. The nearest train station is Santa Giustina (3 Km) I can take you to the foot of the mountains for a hike in the mountains or in the Dolomites Park. I can provide you with books and depliants of the Parco mountains Guest access Guests can access the courtyard and home spaces.
