Archontiko Tzitzifes

"Archontiko" is a traditional two-floor house at the beautiful village of Tzitzifes, which is protected by Natura 2000. Our house was built at 1800 but recently rennovated and it could be an ideal destination for couples, families, groups of friends that wish to enjoy the total quietness of the village and the beauty of the cretan nature. The location combines the elements of the mountain and the forest with the sea, while many interesting beaches are accesible by car within a few minutes. The space Tzitzifes is one of the most historic places in Apokoronas, where the beauty of nature meets the culture and tradition of many centuries ago. The name of the village cames from the tree "tzitzifia" that thrives on the area and is inhabited by 221 people who are mainly occupied with agriculture and livestock farming. The village is located 28 km from Chania and 32 km from Rethymnon, a convenient place for people who like short roadtrips while on their vacations.
