Guest are free to walk around the property and there is a short, easy bush walk on the native forest trail. Other things to note The area is Kiwi conservation therefore avoidance of domestic animals. In the surrounding you will hear unusual sounds of bird wild life, specifically tui's, fantails, native wood pigeons and more. At night the possibility of the haunting cry of the morepork echoing through the valley and not to mention the occasional scuttle of a possum either on the roof or deck.
