Manor Farm is a comfortable modern farmhouse for five standing in a splendid raised position commanding distant views over Owlpen's gently sloping valley and rich woods. The gardens are surrounded by pasture fields. Adjoining Over Court Cottage and built to the same high specifications, the two cottages can be let together to provide comfortable family accommodation for up to nine and are a favourite for family reunions. Downstairs a porch leads to the hall with a modern pine kitchen beyond. The light and spacious sitting/dining room, with three sets of windows providing sweeping views over the valley, has an open fireplace and is ideal for entertaining. There is an interconnecting door to Over Court cottage in the entrance hall, which can be opened up to make it into one large cottage for larger parties. The cottage is centrally-heated. Upstairs there is a perfectly voluptuous 18th-century Hepplewhite king-sized four-poster bed in the main bedroom. The second bedroom has twin beds. There is also a shower room. Wander the gardens of the Tudor manor house at your leisure, and enjoy miles of walks in private woodland in this hidden corner Gloucestershire. Other things to note Golf, gliding, riding, antique shops, historic houses, castles and gardens nearby. But many visitors never leave the peace and privacy of the Owlpen estate, with its miles of footpaths and 800-years of history. Close by there is a pub, village shop/ post office, micro-brewery and Prema arts centre in Uley. Supermarkets and antique shops—some by Royal Appointment--in Tetbury; also larger villages in Nailsworth and Dursley.
