Other things to note Heather Cottage sits on a quiet, friendly residential street, so a few notes to help your stay run smoothly: It's a semi-detached 1950s home, so we'd kindly ask you to be considerate with noise late at night for the sake of our neighbours. Getting in: from street level there's a short flight of about five steps down to the cottage, then a single step into the house. If you'd prefer to avoid the flight of steps, there's a short level route around to the entrance - though there's still one step up into the property itself. Once inside, the ground floor is completely step-free: the downstairs bedroom, the kitchen and a toilet with washbasin are all on the level. The other two bedrooms and a bathroom are upstairs. Parking is free on the street directly outside - there's no driveway or off-street parking within the property. The garage at street level is kept locked and isn't part of the rental. Pets are genuinely welcome. The garden is mostly enclosed, but the front hedging has small gaps, so very small dogs could squeeze through - we'd recommend supervising little ones outside. We just ask that pets are kept off the beds and furniture, not left home alone, and that the garden is cleaned up after them.
