Vine Gîte 2-6 per. @ Domaine de la Matte

Vine gîte on Domaine de la Matte a peaceful farm just 15 mins drive to Carcassonne. The gîte has 2 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with a bunk bed. A bathroom room with shower, fully equipped kitchen with dining table, living room and outside private terrace. Breakfast and dinner is optional (table d'hôtes). The domaine has 18 hectors with farm animals and forest. There is a playground with swings, trampoline etc. The swimming pool is open from 23 June to 20 September. The space Vine is a rural farm gîte at Domaine de la Matte. We are a Domaine of 18 hectors surrounded by vine and national park to the rear. Vine Cottage has 3 bedrooms all with ceiling fans for a good night sleep, 2 x king sized beds, 1 x single bunk beds. The bathroom has a large rain shower room. Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen with 4 gasburners, oven, tea and coffee facilities and a washing machine. The dining tabel is in the kitchen as well and has a open plan to the livingroom. The livingroom has a small TV, Sky CD player radio, 2 couches and a traditional wood burner for the winter evenings (wood provided). Outside is a patio with table and chairs for Al fresco dining. Domaine de la Matte also has another holiday gîte for 6 persons (Olive) and 2 studio's on site. Guest access Guests have access to the grounds of Domaine de la Matte, with our animals: goats, cats and an emu. Garden with sun terrace area's and lots of walking space. We are surrounded by vines and national parks and perfectly located to relax and unwind. Or to go sightseeing. Carcassonne, Chateaux Lastours, Canal de midi, wonderful French markets and vineyards are all close. Other things to note We are based in Cathar country with lots to do and see.
