In the middle of the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park is a small, quiet settlement with our lovingly furnished hut. It is nestled in an idyllic little valley. The ideal place for those seeking peace and quiet, as well as for sports enthusiasts as a starting point for numerous activities in winter as well as in summer. Whether romantic for two or with family & friends: The nature park hut is the ideal place to forget everyday stress & worries. The space Spread over the first floor and two upper floors are two bathrooms with toilet and shower, two bedrooms for two adults each (a total of four adults) and a sleeping option in the attic with 4 beds, ideal for children/teenagers. Sheets and towels will be provided. Up to 8 people can make themselves comfortable in the living room at the dining table and the adjoining sitting area. A spacious terrace invites you to relax in the warmer season. In the winter months, the wood-burning stove in the living room with kitchen provides an authentic cabin atmosphere. Firewood is included in the rental. In addition, there is cozy, comfortable electric and gas heating. Gas and electricity are billed according to consumption. In the winter months, additional heating costs of about €10 - €15/day apply. The Grebenzen ski resort is minutes by car, while the Kreischberg is 20 minutes away. Directions. The Grebenzen is popular as a fantastic hiking area and also has a natural toboggan run in winter. Nearby (Weirerteich, 5 minutes by car) there are opportunities for cross-country skiing and ice skating. A cycle path (Via natura cycle path) and hiking trail start practically right from the Naturpark Hütte. Numerous ponds, streams and springs are waiting to be discovered. At the end of the valley on the border with Carinthia, you will find the dreamy Auerlingsee, a picturesque insider tip with the possibility of swimming.
