The Bower @ Kings Cottage

Studio accommodation, on the grounds of Kings Cottage. The Bower offers the traveller an airy, spacious, environment with intimate dining nook, heated bathroom/toilet, comfy sitting room with reverse cycle air-conditioning, complimented by a designer wood fired heater. The modern kitchen, ideal for self-catering. Access from within the garages via a coded keypad doorway for those who seek a secure environment. The Bower provides overflow accommodation for Kings Cottage for larger family groups. The space The Bower offers contemporary, quiet, away from the highway, secure and private accommodation with comfortable queen sized bed, full sized en-suite bathroom, full kitchen facilities, dining nook and relaxing lounge area with a wood burning heater, radio and TV. The en-suite bathroom features a heated towel rail, exhaust fan and heating lights, shower and toilet. The living room includes a lounge, lounge chair and ottoman which folds out to provide a single bed suitable for ages 0 to 17 y.o. Guest access Guests can access The Bower either directly from within the garages via a private coded keypad locked entrance doorway or via the double deadlocked door at the rear of the property. Access codes are sent via SMS to guests' mobile phone the day prior to arrival. Other things to note Due to our limited medical resources in the New England region, we must insist that our guests are double vaccinated prior to arrival. If that is not the case, we will have to respectfully decline your booking. The Bower is self catering accommodation and there are limited eating venues in Uralla. The Top Pub (recommended by our guests) and Chinese restaurant at the local Bowling Club dinner 7 days per week. Michael's Cafe, The Alternate Root and The Pie Mechanic offer eat-in or take away coffee and meals. For those guests who arrive late and are unable to obtain a meal in town, we provide some frozen provisions as a welcome as well as some additional items in the kitchen cupboards.
