Just a mile from Shelton’s downtown, located in the Mountain View neighborhood which is quiet, safe and great for walks. You’ll love this place because of comfy beds, plus access to the kitchen & laundry. Coffee & Tea anytime. Cyclists are welcome to park their bicycles in the garage. This place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families. HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE, with ramp to front door. Mason General Hospital is just a few blocks away. One private bedroom adjacent to a shared bathroom, is available in a Ranch style home. Shelton is located just 20 miles Northwest of Olympia, an ideal location at the gateway to the Olympic Peninsula and the Washington Coast. A great place to stay if you are visiting our historic little City, or a home base for day trips to any of the many Mountain Parks, Hood Canal, Coastal Beaches, and local Hiking Trails. The Sunrise Room: The new Queen size bed has plenty of pillows, and blankets. There are a desk and bedside cabinet with lights, a television with Netflix and movies, and big closet with hangers. A second bedroom is listed separately [The Rhodie Room]. The two bedrooms are adjacent to each other and share one bathroom. If you are interested in both rooms, and both are available, send us a note along with your reservation request. You may store food in the refrigerator and prepare your own breakfast in the kitchen. I am casual, and will work with your schedule. You are welcome to eat your meals at the dining room table, and relax in the living room. I have games, puzzles, books and maps, and lots of movies. I am usually available by phone and often in person as well. I am happy to suggest restaurants, hiking spots, and other fun tourist destinations. We have all the amenities, except sidewalks. Big kids can even play in the street, the cat next door ambles all over the area. There is a church next door, very quiet. It's an area of mixed housing. Definitely not fancy, just friendly. There is free public transportation, with bus stop 1 block away. We have plenty of parking in front and on the side of our house. Walking distance from everything! Laundry is available for $2 per load. Extra blankets and towels are always available upon request.
