Description
We are situated in the the charming village of Bethersden, Darling Buds of May country, which has two lovely traditional pubs (The George and The Bull- please book for food) to choose from as well as a fantastic butchers/deli. The Apple Shed was used for storing apples when this was a working orchard and converted ten years ago. Set in its own 2 acre meadow, is a perfect romantic place for couples and families. The Apple Shed is quaint and traditional but has all the mod cons including a wifi. The space We will have a home made cake (Mary Berry's Lemon Drizzle and Chocolate Fudge Cake are present favourites!) and a warm welcome waiting for you! The Apple Shed was converted using recycled materials and there are many quaint features to admire. It has a fully equipped kitchen, small baby belling electric cooker (see picture) suitable for cooking a meal for two and fridge. There is also a BBQ outside. (bring charcoal) The romantic bedroom has an en suite shower room with a proper flushing loo. The Apple Shed is has a very efficient log burner and shed full of logs to keep you cosy as toast in winter. Guest access There is a decking area to sit outside the Apple Shed and enjoy the meadow, perfect way to spend a summer evening. Parking is up at the house. Other things to note The Bull is a short stroll away, a traditional country pub with delicious local fayre.The George Pub is in the centre of the village. A five min drive away is the special Pig and Sty pub.
